Adventures of Armenian American during original tribute
A young man living in Glendale decided to overcome 3500 km on foot paying his tribute to the memory of victims of the Armenian Genocide in this way. 34-year-old Davit Movsesyan started his hike in the USA on February 24 and has already passed 1/3 part of the road.
The young man, who has a diploma in Business Administration at California State University, also studied at culinary college. This profession was necessary during the hike. He used his knowledge gained at Le Cordon Blue French culinary college, when he stayed in a hostel after injuring his foot. Here he was even offered a salary for making dinner for visitors, until the recovery of the injury.
It is not surprising that Davit has initiated such a difficult hike: he is a professional runner. Davit’s mother was against the initiative of her son to pass 3500 km alone, but the young man was able to convince.
By the way, after this hike many people will recognize Davit with difficulty. The sun and the wind have done their work with the appearance of Davit. He will be walking until August 24.
