How finances of PIU are spent: Prime Minister to deal with that issue

At the end of government sitting Prime Minister Hovik Abrahamyan ordered the ministers to represent the projects to the lawmakers in a more comprehensive way. This order has been given as the lawmakers misunderstood the project on amendments to Income tax and Profit tax laws discussed at the NA. “The lawmakers weren’t speaking about what was written in the law and there was an impression that they were speaking about different project. There are two reasons for it. Either the lawmakers haven’t understood or haven’t read the law properly, or the members of the government haven’t presented it properly,” said Prime Minister Hovik Abrahamyan by urging the members of the government to be more attentive and to send the draft bills, which must be submitted to the NA extraordinary session, at least one week earlier so that the lawmakers can get acquainted with them. PM Hovik Abrahamyan also informed that he had met the Heads of the PIU (project implementation unit) and urged to refrain from any act of corruption. According to his words, huge investments are implemented in our country through the PIU, but corruption scandals and abuses are talked about more. Hovik Abrahamyan said that he had ordered to inform the society how finances are spent.
