Girl in taraz got marriage proposal from an Iranian (video)
Student Elen Margaryan was chosen to represent Armenian national clothing in Republic Square. For about 10 days Elen wearing the Armenian national garment offered the passersby to be photographed with her. “I liked Artsakh taraz most of all. It was wholly red without any needlework. I liked the Armenian necklaces, jewelry, they are very beautiful,” she says. “Ayo” project of the Fund for Armenian Relief initiated the action with the support of “Marashlyan” photo studio. Armenian traditional costumes were provided by “Teryan” cultural center.
