Protest outside US Embassy: Only US can stop killings of Iraqi Yazidis, say protesters

Only the United States of America can stop the killings of Yazidis in northern Iraq by stopping the supply of weapons to Kurdistan, say Yazidis living in Armenia. Today they gathered outside the US Embassy in Yerevan to pose their demand. The protesters also demanded that the US government recognize of the Armenian Genocide, saying the100 years of silence resulted in the massacre of Yazidis and other national minorities in Iraq. A representative of the US Embassy came out to talk to the protesters and promised to organize a meeting between the US Ambassador and the Yazidi community in Armenia without specifying the date.
