The meeting of Galust Sahakyan and Speaker of Parliament of South Ossetia isn’t a reason for diplomatic scandal, thinks HHK faction Head Vahram Baghdasaryan: “It wasn’t an official meeting, it was personal, that person asked to come for 5 minutes in order to offer condolences, he came, offered condolences and left.” The fact is that Georgia officially expressed concern over that meeting and invited Yuri Vardanyan to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for clarifications: Dashnaktsutyun member Armen Rustamyan is surprised, “There are acquaintances, they announce that it wasn’t official, that person came, not to receive him?” Mr. Rustamyan doesn’t suggest jumping to conclusions and says: “All the countries, which think that the countries, which haven’t been recognized, don’t have a right to visit anywhere or establish relations, are sadly mistaken. As we see all that can be temporary.” Former Minister of Foreign Affairs of Armenia Alexander Arzumanyan hopes that Georgians won’t make this diplomatic scandal more intense, as Armenia hasn’t recognized the independence of South Ossetia. “Maybe I wouldn’t meet.”
