Today in Yerevan the members of the International Club of Tbilisi have celebrated the 15th anniversary of the club’s foundation. The club was founded in Yerevan in May, 2000. According to the words of Eduard Yedikiselov, the President of the International Club of Tbilisi, initially the club had 450 members, now there are about 300 members. Some of them died, some moved to other countries. By the way, members of the club aren’t only Armenians, but also representatives of different nationalities born in Tbilisi, such as Poles, Talishes and others, who later moved to Armenia. “Every month we gather, organize events, celebrate anniversaries, as well as help the sick and people with disabilities, and everything is done voluntarily,” Eduard Yedikiselov told “A1+”. Eduard Yedikiselov also informs that twice a year they leave for Tbilisi for free and visit the house of Sayat-Nova. They take part in various cultural events and they organize exhibitions, concerts etc. This project will be continuous in the future. Mr. Yedikiselov awarded certificates to the most active members of the club. Then a short video was shown about 15 years of operation of the club, its founders and members.
