Serzh Sargsyan has sent a message of condolences to composer, People’s Artist of the USSR Rodion Schedrin on the death of his wife, famous Russian ballerina Maya Plisetskaya. “It was with pain and deep sorrow that I learned about the death of the world-famous ballet dancer, unparalleled and amazing Maya Plisetskaya. "The unique characters she created will always remain in the memory of all generations of spectators. Great is the pain of the loss, and we grieve together with you. “I express my deep condolences to you, your family, friends and millions of admirers of Maya Plisetskaya’s talent,” Sargsyan said in the message. Maya Plisetskaya, one of the greatest ballerinas of the 20th century, a choreographer and ballet director, died from a heart attack on May 2 at the age of 89.
