The other two members of the Founding Parliament group – Gevorg Safaryan and Garegik Chukaszyan – were set free from the Nubarashen penitentiary minutes ago. People waiting for them outside the prison greeted the FP members with thunderous applause.
Gevorg Safaryan did not deny that he had been subjected to pressure in prison but did not give any details. He promised to tell everything in a couple of days.
Garegik Chukaszyan felt good and said he intends to continue the struggle against the regime in the same spirit. Chukaszyan was kept in the same ward with former MP Hakob Hakobyan. He says they communicated as inmates but there were aesthetic differences between them.
The Founding Parliament will convene a press conference in the coming days to inform people on their future steps.
