70.6% of eligible voters participate in parliamentary elections in Nagorno-Karabakh
Parliamentary elections took place in the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic (NKR) on May 3. Forty-six candidates and seven political parties were running for the 33-seat parliament. All the 279 polling stations opened in Karabakh ad Yerevan closed at 8 p.m., Srbuhi Arzumanyan, a spokesperson for the NKR CEC, said. She added that a total of 72 039 people (70.6% of eligible voters) went to the polls on Sunday.
