Naira Zohrabyan: “There are lawmakers who don’t distinguish the OSCE from the Eurovision” (video)
The deadline of presenting suggestions to the professional committee on the conception of constitutional amendments expires on May 5. The NA ARF faction Head Armen Rustamyan knows, “Still now they have shown that only we have presented written suggestions.” Nothing has been added to 10-point suggestions presented by Dashnaktsutyun in January. It is under discussion. Armen Rustamyan expects that as a result of discussions only the parliamentary version of the constitutional amendments will be left, “I am sure that we must also rely on the statement made by the President, as the President has approved the conception which assumes transition to the parliamentary system.” The BHK headed by Naira Zohrabyan would present suggestions to the professional committee if the conception of reforms of the current semi-presidential system was presented, “But as it wasn’t presented, we can say that only one version is left on the agenda, the BHK won’t present any suggestion.” Mrs. Zohrabyan thinks that the first disadvantage of the parliamentary version is the fact that the parties aren’t established.
