SDHP and DPA to present their demands to the authorities (video)
Social Democrat Hunchakian Party and Democratic Party of Armenia are holding a rally on May 1, International Workers' Day, in Charles Aznavour Square. They will demand from the authorities to respect the rights of the citizens by ensuring their welfare. Narek Galstyan, Chairman of Social Democrat Hunchakian Party noted that they support social equality, but today oligarchy has become dominant. President of the Democratic Party Aram Sargsyan urges the people to make a right choice. “You must not think that the rich can come and help you to change this situation or that the rich are interested in changing the system. Why must the rich be interested in changing the system?” he said. During the rally there won’t be calls for drastic actions, “We will present those mechanisms, due to which this or that issue can be implemented,” noted Aram Sargsyan. By the way, on May 1, as the speakers of the press conference noted, renowned intellectuals and famous people will make speeches.
