Why do our compatriots leave? If they had high salary, they would not leave. So please let’s develop our economy here so that people don’t leave. Let the gentlemen, all the gentlemen, 1 million people, open 1000 dollars account in a bank. Let them not give us money, let them put money in the bank… everyone, who has opportunity, let him put 1000 dollars into his account and not give to the RA. Banks will get money, they will strengthen, economy will develop and they will receive interest rates. We don’t want a big philanthropy from them,” says the Minister of Diaspora. Hranush Hakobyan made another suggestion to Diaspora Armenians that if they want to help the RA, they should come to Armenia and spend their holidays and spend their money in Armenia once in 3-4 years, as world famous TV star Kim Kardashian did, “Each Armenian must come and see his homeland, no one has a right to tell him why he has come. Kardashian came in a very smart way- together with her husband, child and sister.”
