20000 shots in the direction of Armenian positions on April 19-25
According to NKR DA operative data, on April 19-25, Azerbaijan violated the ceasefire regime at the line of contact between Karabakh and Azerbaijan about 1200 times. During that period, Azerbaijan fired more than 20000 shots in the direction of Armenian positions from weapons of different caliber including 60 mm mortars and Han-17 and RPG-7 grenade launchers. Besides the abovementioned violations, on April 20-21 overnight the adversary initiated subversive penetration attempt in the north-eastern direction (Seysulan) of the line of contact between the armed forces of Azerbaijan and Karabakh. The vanguards of the Karabakh DA detected movement of the Azerbaijani diversion group in time, organized all-round defense and entered into combat. As a result of combat the adversary escaped by suffering losses and leaving different armaments on the battlefield. The DA vanguards suffered no losses. The Defense Army vanguards keep the operative-strategic situation under control and continue confidently carrying out their military duty. Press Service of the NKR MoD
