DEMYC members hold march in Yerevan in commemoration of Armenian Genocide victims
The Democrat Youth Community of Europe (DEMYC) today commemorated the innocent victims of the Armenian Genocide perpetrated by the Ottoman Empire in a unique way. Delegates from 16 countries held a march to the Statue of Komitas in Yerevan, with posters condemning the Armenian Genocide. When they got to the statue, DEMYC members said in their mother tongues the slogan of the centenary of the Armenian Genocide” We remember and demand! DEMYC members arrived in Yerevan to attend the DEMYC council meeting hosted by the Youth Organization of the Republican Party of Armenia.
