An exhibition entitled “Armenian Genocide through students' eyes” has opened at Yeritasardakan metro station at the initiative of the Youth Foundation of Armenia and the Student Council of the National University of Architecture and Construction. Through their works, the University students conveyed the pain and sorrow of their ancestors, the strength and will to live, fight and survive. The students of the faculty of Design had been assigned to prepare posters on the theme of genocide. One hundred of the 300 posters are now put on display. “Both the initiative and the posters prove that young people demand recognition of the crime. Time cannot erase what happened to Armenians [in 1915] and our generations will constantly fight against Turkish denial policy,” said Karen Avagyan, coordinator of the Board of Trustees of Youth Foundation. On April 24, students of the National University of Architecture and Construction will hold a traditional march to Tsitsernakaberd Memorial to pay tribute to the Genocide victims.
