Ruben Hayrapetyan blames football fans (video)
“Under the pressure of football fans I made a mistake by inviting a foreign specialist. Hereafter I have decided that the coach of the team must be an Armenian. Only he will understand for whom and for what he competes,” today after the 13th meeting of Football Federation of Armenia announced Ruben Hayrapetyan, who was reelected on the post of the Federation’s President. He also added that the Federation and the newly elected executive committee would think about the creation of a new team, so that it successfully overcomes the qualifying round of World Cup 2018 and takes part in the final round in Russia. As Ruben Hayrapetyan noted, during his office the Federation’s budget has increased for dozens times compared with 2003 but at the same time he added that he wasn’t able to solve the most important issue- to enter the final round of World Cup or European championship. Today the new staff of FFA executive committee was elected. It is notable, that there is no single ex-football player or ex-football coach. Here are our football officials- Samvel Alexanyan, Sukias Avetisyan, Tovmas Grigoryan, Victor Dallakyan, Hrayr Tovmasyan, Levon Hasratyan, Karen Harutyunyan, Karlos Ghazaryan, Eduard Ghazaryan, Ashot Manukyan, Edik Margaryan, Taron Margaryan, Armen Minasyan, Artak Mnatsakanyan, Arman Sahakyan, Bagrat Navoyan. Derenik Dumanyan and “Banants” FC founder Sargis Israyelyan weren’t included in the executive committee.
