THE POSTPONED TRIAL WENT ON TODAY
Support A1+!The trial that was postponed because of seeking for Steven Newton, the witness of Poghos Poghosyan murder in “Aragast” café went on today. Poghos Poghosyan’s assignee announced Mr Newton had been to Yerevan in spite of the contrary information given by the Ministries of Foreign and Internal Affaires. It was said Steven Newton seekings had no results but he left Yerevan only on the 2nd of February.
Steven Newton sent testimony to the representative Roubik Sahakyan through the ‘’Human Rights Watch’’ International organization. According to the testimony Poghos Poghosyan was beaten to the death in the café water-closet by the president ’ s bodyguards.
It is to be noted Steven Newton can ‘ t be accused according to the law currently in force in Armenia. The court is to rely only to the embassy of his country if need be. By the way, Roubik Sahakyan wasn‘ t pleased by the testimony publication.
