Diaspora Armenian: Many well-off people in Armenia have some relationship with leadership (video)
Andre Babian, 49, is visiting his homeland, Armenia, for the fourth time. “I spend my holidays here. I come here to have a rest, see my friends and relatives,” says Mr Babian who already formed an idea about the living conditions in Armenia. “Many people complain of their living conditions and salaries which evidently does not suffice them,” he adds. In Armenia, Andre has witnessed many things that surprised him a lot. “I see that there are many well-off people who have some relationship with the country’s leadership. You cannot see such things in Canada and the United States,” says Andre Babian who resides in Canada.
