Levon Zurabyan: Serzh Sargsyan cannot do anything no matter how many prime ministers he changes (video)
What changes has the government led by Hovik Abrahamyan made in Armenia during the one year of his premiership? The question has been addressed to Yerevan citizens who call attention to numerous problems and concerns that remain unsolved. Vahan Babayan, Spokesman for the Prosperous Armenia Party (BHK), says he understands people’s complains and concerns but he thinks that one years is not enough to achieve positive changes. Levon Zurabyan, Head of the Armenian National Congress (HAK) faction, reminds that when Hovik Abrahamyan was appointed to the post, they warned that ‘a corrupt tree cannot bring forth good fruit, hence it should we cut.’ Mr Zurabyan says the country’s economy is falling apart and will soon reach ‘a final collapse.’ The only way out of the situation is to change the government, he stresses. "Serzh Sargsyan cannot do anything no matter how many prime ministers he changes," the head of the HAK faction adds. Vahan Babayan sees positive changes during the one year of Abrahamyan’s premiership and does not agree with the opinion that his party refrains from criticizing the premier. “We always call things by their proper names,” he said.
