Vahe Baghdasaryan wins Aeroflot Open B

Armenian chess player, International Master Vahe Baghdasaryan has performed well at the Aeroflot Open in Moscow, Russia. Baghdasaryan became winner in Aeroflot Open 2015, Group B, with 6, 5 points. Entering as the 39th seed, he finished in a 6-way tie for 1st, but placed first on the tiebreaks. Armenian GM Tigran Kotanjyan finished 6th. Armenia’s Hovhannes Gabuzyan came 18 with 5 points in Aeroflot Open A and Tigran L. Petrosyan was 39 with 4,5 points. They were 2-2,5 points behind GM Ian Nepomniachtchi, who edged out GM Daniil Dubov on tiebreak and won the Aeroflot Open in Moscow.
