Cyprus adopts the bill criminalizing Armenian Genocide denial
Bill criminalizing the Armenian Genocide denial was unanimously adopted at Cyprus parliament. According to the bill, those, who will deny the Armenian Genocide in Cyprus will be sentenced to 5 years in prison and will pay 10 000 euros fine. Cyprus is the 4th country in Europe after Switzerland, Greece, Slovakia, which criminalizes Armenian Genocide denial.
