Petrol prices are much higher in Armenia than in Georgia (video)

The price of one liter of “Regular” petrol is 420 drams in Armenia. Drivers, who often travel to Georgia, know that that the price of “Regular” petrol was the same in both countries. However, in the last few months, there has been a significant decline in petrol and diesel fuel prices in Georgia and today one liter of petrol is sold at 1,6  laris (about 340 drams). The video made by the Union of Informed Citizens NGO compares petrol prices in the member states of the Eurasian Economic Union, focusing on the fact that Russian petrol is about 25% more expensive in EEU member states than in Georgia despite the strained relations between Georgia and Russia.
