Armenian Parliament official meets with Armenians in Riga
The vice speaker of the Armenian National Assembly, Eduard Sharmazanov, has met with representatives of Armenian community in during his visit to the city’s St Gregory the Illuminator Church. The event was also attended by Armenia’s Ambassador to the Baltic States Ara Aivazyan and Primate of the Armenian Apostolic Church in the Baltic States Khosrov Stepanyan. The interlocutors emphasized the role of the Armenia-Diaspora-Artsakh trinity. Eduard Sharmazanov thanked the community for assisting in the opening of a Genocide centenary museum in the city’s National Library. “Our unity will be the guarantee for our success,” said Mr Sharmazanov.
