Karabakh Defence Army: At least 7 Azerbaijani soldiers killed overnight
Azerbaijan continues to violate the ceasefire along the Line of Contact between Azerbaijani and Karabakh Armed Forces, using various weapons and launching subversive penetration attempts, Karabakh’s Defence Army said in a statement. Azerbaijan violated the truce over 80 times overnight, firing around 4500 rounds at Armenian positions from Istiglal, Han-17, DShK, RPK and other weapons. Along with these weapons, the enemy also fired in the direction of Shahumyan from ZIK-23-2. The vanguard units of Karabakh’s Defence Army opened retaliatory fire to stop the enemy’s advancement and neutralized three Azerbaijani sliders and ZIK-23-2. At the same time, Karabakh’s Army units took preventive actions in the northeastern sector of the Line of Contact, killing four soldiers of the enemy’s special detachment. The Armenian side has not suffered casualties during these operations.
