Sambo Championships kick off in Yerevan
Armenian Junior Sambo Championships today kicked off at Mika sports complex in Yerevan, the Sambo Federation of Armenia reports. The event has brought together at least 150 sportsmen from Shirak, Lori, Tavush, Gegharkunik, Kotayk, Ararat, Armavir, Karabakh and Yerevan. Sambo Youth Championships will be held at the same sports complex on Tuesday. Based on the results of the current championships, age teams will be formed that will leave for Novi Sad, Sebia to participate in the European Sambo Championships from 16 to 20 April.
