“Marionette, puppet NGOs advise the Government”: entrepreneur (video)
Small and medium-size enterprises continue their complaint, “Two years ago we worked within the frames of 3,5 % turnover tax and it was convenient. But now the Government has set 5 %,” said “Kasetsum” movement initiative group member Samson Grigoryan by stressing that it bears corruption risks. On March 3 new draft law will be discussed. “Kasetsum” movement activists will try to meet with the lawmakers and represent their offers so that they are included in the law, “If the entrepreneur has obtained products worth 10 million AMD during the first trimester, which is enough for him to work during the whole year, and he has done it fully documented, currently he can make income tax reduction from that 10 million AMD only for the first trimester, during the next trimester he has to pay 5%. And on the contrary, another man, who has obtained fewer products, for example products worth 5 million AMD, but in different trimesters, he is able to reduce in each trimester as a result appearing in more beneficial condition. So, here is also a factor of injustice,” highlighted “Kasetsum” movement activist. “Analyzing the events of the recent 6 months, we want to turn to the Government so that the businessmen don’t leave their businesses and come out into the streets. A council should be created, which will include business representatives. Currently there are dozens of NGOs and unions representing business and after consulting with them the Government adopts laws, which turn out to be absurd for the business. Let there be real interested parties and not a marionette, some puppet NGOs,” highlighted Mr. Grigoryan. Will activist Artak Khachatryan continue the fight together with the entrepreneurs? Mr. Grigoryan answers, “Currently he is recovering his health and we are trying not to bother him. Now he has more serous problems than we. I should say that the incident with Artak Khachatryan didn’t scare us, on the contrary we have become more powerful.”
