Azerbaijan to cover expenses of Armenian delegation
All the expenses at Baku 2015 First European Games will be covered by Azerbaijan. Today it was announced by Chingiz Huseynzade, Vice President of the National Olympic Committee of Azerbaijan: “Such function is accepted during Olympic Games. All the expenses of arrival and departure of the participant teams are covered either by the host country or the International Olympic Committee. In our case expenses of all the delegations will be covered by the Azerbaijani Government including the expenses of the Armenian delegation, which will likely arrive from Tbilisi,” said Huseynzade. Sportsmen and coaches will live in an Olympic village in Baku and the heads of the National Olympic Committees will stay at the Fairmont Hotel. It should be added that during First European Games 5000 sportsmen will compete in 18 sports.
