Advice of Deputy Minister of Finances to opposition deputies
Today the Government rejected the draft on amendments in the law on “Turnover tax”. The draft was proposed by the NA deputies Mikayel Melkumyan, Naira Zohrabyan, Levon Zurabyan. Deputy Minister of Finances Armen Alaverdyan noted that they suggested including a voluntary principle and to levy 3.5 % from those products, which don’t have documents and make the current threshold from 58,35 million to 100 million AMD. Armen Alaverdyan informed that the Government submitted a project with radical changes to the NA: “We suggest to the above mentioned deputies that they should abstain from these discussions and touch upon those issues within the frames of law drafts’ packages’ discussions which are already under discussion,” advised Deputy Minister of Finances.
