BHK cancels Feb 20 rally in Liberty Square
The political council of the Prosperous Armenia Party (BHK) has issued a statement saying it would not hold its rally slated for February 20. “The Yerevan City Council refused a rally permit to the opposition forces, at the same time creating unlawful obstacles for the pre-announced rally. Considering the emotional state of the people and in order to avoid provocations and clashes, the party’s political council has decided to cancel its rally on February 20,” reads the statement.
