Zurich Chess Challenge: Levon Aronian will face Sergey Karjakin
Armenian chess player Levon Aronian is to face Sergey Karjakin of Russia in Round 1 of the Zurich Chess Challenge 2015. The match is slated for February 14. The pairings were determined in the blitz section held on o Friday. Aronian won the small round robin with 4.0/5. He finished half a point ahead of GM Fabiano Caruana and GM Viswanathan Anand. The classical part of the tournament starts on Saturday, at 6.00 Yerevan time. The pairings for the first round are Anand-Kramnik, Aronian-Karjakin and Caruana-Nakamura.
