The Artsakh Defense Army reports that Azerbaijan violated the ceasefire over 2200 times between January 25 and 31, firing more than 40000 rounds at Armenian positions, including 66 mm mortars and grenade launchers. During the reporting period the adversary also launched reconnaissance-sabotage infiltration attempts, which were timely spotted by the Armenian armed forces. In the result of the retaliatory actions taken by the Armenian side, the enemy was sent back to their initial positions, suffering three losses. The Armenian side did not sustain any casualties. To cover up the deaths in its armed forces and to develop triumphant sentiments in the society, Azerbaijan also resorted to cheap propaganda tricks, claiming that its air forces had downed an Armenian drone which later actually proved to be their military’s property.
