Anahit Bakhshyan: Sometimes I have disdain for myself because of our reality (video)
We did not see representatives of non-governing forces at the Yerablur Pantheon today. Only Anahit Bakhshyan from the opposition Heritage party was there.
In an interview with A1+, Mrs Bakhshyan said she visits Yerablur every year: many of her friends and pupils are buried at the cemetery.
I need to come here to overcome frustration and depression. I come here to gain strength, to understand who I am and who my ancestors are because sometimes I have disdain for myself because of our reality. When I come here I say to myself, ‘I deserve a little love.’ She finds it funny that Armenian authorities are trying to link the intensified ceasefire violations on the border with the 100th anniversary of the Armenian Genocide.
