Police forces are approaching government building: Protesters want to see Prime Minister (video)
People gathered outside the government building already for two hours, are chanting “Prime Minister!” every now and then. They are protesting against the Law on Turnover Tax which requires that salespeople track an inventory for each product. Earlier Prime Minister Hovik Abrahamyan agreed to receive a group of ten traders at 1.30 pm on Monday but the protesters want the premier to come out of the building and talk to all of them. Despite the cold, the protesters are not going to leave the area unless the problem is solved. More police forces are approaching the government building at this moment. The new law will come into effect starting February 1.
