Best sportsmen of Armenia honored
During recent years it has become a tradition by National Olympic Committee of Armenia to honor 10 best sportsmen of the republic. In 2014 Armenia’s sports beau monde gathered in “Paravon” restaurant complex. World and Europe champions received financial awards. Their coaches were also encouraged. According to the results of the polls by Sports Journalists Federation of Armenia, World and Europe champion, Greco-Roman style wrestler Arthur Aleksanyan has been recognized the best sportsman of 2014. He has been awarded with the flat in Yervan. World champion, Greco-Roman style wrestler Arsen Julfalakyan is on the second place. Weightlifter Ruben Aleksanyan sums up the best trio. The President of National Olympic Committee of Armenia Gagik Tsarukyan awarded cars to the best sportsmen who have taken 2-10 places. Serzh Sargsyan and Robert Kocharyan weren’t present at this year’s ceremony.
