Genocide Museum Director Hayk Demoyan and History Museum Director Ashot Melkonyan are at odds. First Demoyan speaks without mentioning names, “One and a half year ago Genocide Museum Director and State Commission Secretary were targeted.” Ashot Melkonyan hasn’t liked Hayk Demoyan’s dissertation. The latter is sure that there was an order against him in the National Academy of Sciences, “It was decided in the National Academy of Sciences to get rid of me.” But Hayk Demoyan thinks that the order isn’t based on the dissertation, but 100 ha green zone near Genocide museum-institute, some scientists don’t want it to be given to the museum: “The person who set out to that work by discrediting and failing my work, will soon receive the title of Academician.” It is about Ashot Melkonyan. “As a sign of protest, I left the Academy,”- adds Demoyan. Ashot Melkonyan admits that he hasn’t liked the dissertation of Genocide Museum Director on Karabakh issue.
