Single mothers raise their underage children in domiks (video)

Within the framework of an annual charity event, members of the Shirak Centre NGO visited families living in dire social conditions.  The representatives of the NGO had brought with them firewood, food and Christmas gifts. Unfortunately, they met numerous single mothers who with their underage children live in rented domiks (temporary wagon-like shelters). They live on social benefits and can hardly make both ends meet: they can only cover the cost of utilities. People living in damp and rundown domiks mainly heat their ‘homes’ with work-out shoes and paper waste.
