Armenian FM receives Vice-President of European Parliament
On December 19, Armenian Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandian received Richard Henry Czarnecki, Vice-President of the European Parliament. Minister Nalbandian highlighted the development of comprehensive cooperation with the European Union in conformity with a joint statement adopted by the EU and Armenia during the 2013 Vilnius summit. Richard Czarnecki said, in turn, that the European Parliament stresses the importance of EU-Armenia cooperation and will continue to render assistance in this direction. The interlocutors also discussed issues related to Armenia-EU cooperation, Eastern Partnership and the activities carried out within the Euronest. In this context, they stressed the importance of EU support for reports in Armenia. The two men also exchanged views on international and regional issues.
