The lawsuit of “Tseghakron” party Head Shant Harutyunyan and his friends was assigned to the judge of the Court of Criminal Appeal Arshak Khachatryan. But the day of the court hearing isn’t known. We remind that on October 17 “Tseghakron” party Head Shant Harutyunyan was sentenced to 6 years of imprisonment. The judge of Court of General Jurisdiction of Kentron and Nork-Marash Administrative District Mnatsakan Martirosyan found him guilty of hooliganism. His underage son Shahen Harutyunyan was sentenced to 4 years of imprisonment provided not to apply the punishment. Shahen studies in the 11th grade. All the defendants were found guilty by the court. The Court imposed the strictest punishment over Vahe Mkrtchyan- 7 years in prison. Albert Margaryan was sentenced to 6, Avetis Avetisyan, Liparit Petrosyan, Vardan Vardanyan- 5, Hayk Harutyunyan- 4 years 6 months, Armen Hovhannisyan- 2, Sevak Mnatsakanyan- 1 year 6 months, Tigran Petrosyan- 1 year of imprisonment. Tigran Petrosyan has been already released. Misak Arakelyan was fined 50 thousand AMD. Defense attorneys petitioned the court to eliminate the precautionary measures and make judicial acquittal. Shant Harutyunyan and hid friends were found guilty after the incidents on November 5 of last year for hooliganism and resistance to the government representative.
