Farmers in Shirak marz have begun a mass slaughter of cattle herds because they cannot afford the cost of feed, which has soared.
Many say they have to slaughter animals to repay bank loans, other are going to satisfy their basic needs with the money.
Despite the mass slaughter of animals meat prices remain the same at the market.
