Unprecedented ceasefire regime violations registered
According to NKR DA operative data, from December 7-13, Azerbaijan violated the ceasefire regime at the line of contact between Karabakh and Azerbaijan about 1600 times. During that period, Azerbaijan fired more than 18000 shots from weapons of different caliber in the direction of Armenian positions. In particular unprecedented ceasefire regime violations have been registered in eastern part of the line of contact. In that direction Azerbaijan fired more than 30 shots from 60 mm and 82 mm mortars. During the week the rival used grenade launchers, large and small caliber sniper and machine-gun armament. Defense Army first military units gave relevant response when necessary and kept the situation under control. NKR DM Press Service
