Police investigate attack on Armenian MP
The criminal investigation unit of Arabkir division has instituted a case in connection with the beating of an Armenian opposition member who was attacked in front of his house late on Thursday. The case is filed under Article 117 of the Armenian Criminal Code.
Preliminary investigation is underway to disclose the circumstances of the attack. A forensic expertise is arranged, operations and search agencies of the Police are ordered to implement measures in order to establish the identity of the unknown assailant.
The footage of the attack found during the examination of the scene has been forwarded to the investigating body for examination.
