Margarita Avagyan is an educator at preschool group of Armenian college after Hrant Dink, she is also from Armenia, she has lived in Istanbul for 13 years, but she isn’t quiet, “We don’t know what laws will come out, a law may be adopted that will force everybody to return to Armenia.” Here many people live without legal bases. Turkish authorities know the place of this college, it is situated in the basement of Armenian Evangelical Church in Asian part of Istanbul, there is commercial office next to the church. They may have operated under the auspices of the Patriarchate of Constantinople, but it refused by saying that they don’t want to endanger the lives of children. No other Armenian church accepted the idea of college and it was opened in this church. The number of illegal migrants was increasing, children must receive education. “There are families with both mother and father, there are also families with single mothers, families with grandmothers and grandfathers,”- presents the Director of preschool group of Armenian college after Hrant Dink Heriknaz Avagyan. There are also senior students at this college, but they don’t want to speak. Young teacher of History and Geography Davit Khachatryan is speaking, “There is no better place than Armenia in whole the world, but people should live with dignity.” Davit served in Armenian army. Today he lives in Istanbul and no one should mock him for living and educating among people, who reject Armenian Genocide. He is learning to perceive these people, “You must make Turkey have individual attitude to you, it has collective attitude. They have won with their ideology, they have psychology of the winner, they are not offended.” By the way, Ministry of Education and Science provides books to this college.
