“A1+”… surprised face even when hearing this name. Since depriving the TV company from broadcasting right in 2002 till now many people have been surprised how “A1+” survives and they express their astonishment on any occasion with different versions. Then they had to reject their own version when they had opportunity to get acquainted with the work of TV company personally. This time the reaction of the Director of “A1+” Mesrop Movsesyan is very impetuous: - I don’t know why all want to chatter and to throw mud on everyone and everything except for themselves, of course. You had better follow your actions, estimate everything that surrounds you. There are numerous rumors about the status and position of “A1+”. Once we were sold, then we were bought, once we were sold to Americans, to Serzh, to Levon and so on. I don’t understand why they need it. Isn’t there something else by which you can fill your working day, your websites, your blank broadcasting time. I think it’s time to stop chattering, it’s time to work, partners. With chattering you express your helplessness in information field and your brain impotence. You are guilty of that. Express yourself better at professional sphere, where serious work is needed, and don’t try to find bosses for you and others. Who is guilty? Let confess that we all are guilty that journalism has become shorthand. One dictates and we all take down in shorthand. There is no journalistic work, there is no logic and sense in what we do today. Today all we try to work less and not to think, and only gather as many readers and viewers as possible, and more concrete- to gather likes. All we try to improve the design of the website and then we keep it empty and boring. TV studios have become like space stations and fantastic hotels’ lobbies, where smiling ushers are sitting instead of presenters but no one watches the programs. It is said that the image of the studio is the reflection of county’s strength and that the presenter is the face of the country. Frankly speaking, seeing all these is frightening. It is awful to live in our today’s country and move forward. Frankly speaking, we aren’t even going to move forward, we are staying in the same place. We are lost somewhere between past and present. This situation allows all those, who are near the authorities, to humiliate, ridicule and hit us- reporters. Isn’t there freedom of speech? We all speak about freedom of speech and just imitate the struggle for it. The reason is that we still don’t know what to do with it, we are still in the past. Today fear governs the press. It is our misfortune, and of course, after all these we need a mask, blank gray smoke, muddy water. So we must pass the blow to someone else and enter the shadow, the muddy water. Let’s pass. Let’s do it together. Well, let’s pass from an ill head to a health one and continue our humiliated and gray work, which we proudly call journalism, a word, which is already obscure and forgotten in our country.
