Simon Martirosyan becomesVice-Champion of Europe
Armenia young weightlifters won another medal at the European Championships in Cyprus. Armenian weightlifter Simon Martirosyan (105 w/kg) successfully lifted 184 kg in the snatch, and 210 kg in the clean and jerk. His total result was 394 kg for both lifts. Martirosyan came second as Russian Marcel Guidea was able to reduce the difference of 9kg and become European champion.
