The non-governmental Troika would be dangerous for the authorities, if new extra-parliamentary powers joining it were powerful parties. “If individual parties are joining, why should HHK worry?”- says HHK deputy Hamlet Harutyunyan. Until now “People’s Party”, “National Unity” and “Socialist party of Armenia” have joined the non-governmental troika, “If it is done for a vote, it won’t be honoring both for Troika and those party leaders.” Mr. Harutyunyan isn’t optimistic- political coalitions aren’t long lasting, “Troika itself isn’t a coalition of equal parties, and what’s the most important- ideology is completely different, there is no similarity.” BHK deputy Mikayel Melkumyan offers not to rush to conclusions- extra-parliamentary powers are joining Troika, as a nationwide movement has started and they also can not avoid the process, “It won’t be just a statement, those powers will invest their human and professional resources in order to support the general movement.” HAK party head Levon Zurabyan thinks that it is a constitutional right of every party to support the movement or not. He considers it to be normal that the powers, which have joined Troika, once criticized HAK, “In fact, the more people contribute, the more people participate in these processes, the more numerous are our rallies, the better it will be.”
