Ashot Manucharyan: Downing of Armenian helicopter was accidental (video)
The world is progressing; there are endless challenges, while Armenia is in drowsiness, says Karabakh Committee member Ashot Manucharyan. Analyzing the external and internal political situation in Armenia, he said the country is governed by outside forces. Mr Manucharyan says Armenia does not have political parties and media, but the country has banks which give loans with high interest rates. Speaking about the strained relations between Armenia and Azerbaijan, he said the downing of an Armenian helicopter by Azerbaijan near the Line of Contact was accidental. “I do not think that [Ilham] Aliyev issued an order to shoot down the helicopter,” he said.
