Controversial pension law: Where do deducted sums go? (video)
When the mandatory pension fund was introduced in Armenia its supporters said citizens can follow where their money goes, how their accounts are accumulated, which funds the deducted sums are transferred to, how pension fund managers work and whether the money is invested in risky or non-risky businesses. Today deductions are made only from the salaries of public sector employees and the money is transferred to corresponding pension funds. But these people do not seem to care where the money goes. Mane Tandilyan, a member of Dem Am! (I Am Against) movement says employees of the private sector would not sit idle and show indifference to the issue. Details are available in the video.
