Anand and Carlsen ended in a draw
Today the 8th round of the World Chess Championship was held in Sochi. Viswanathan Anand playing with white pieces chose a very cautious strategy and didn’t risk. Such game was very advantageous for present world champion Magnus Carlsen, who was also calm and ended in a draw on the 40th step. The score became 4,5:3,5 in favor of Norwegian chess player. Tomorrow there are no games, and on November 20 the 9th round will be held, where the first step will be done by Magnus Carlsen.
