First opponent of Levon Aronyan is Boris Gelfand
Today International TASHIR Chess Tournament in memory of World 9th champion Tigran Petrosyan will be launched at Novotel hotel in Moscow. 8 Grand Masters will take part in it. The prize fund of the tournament is 100 thousand dollars. The winner will be awarded Nike bronze statue. According to yesterday’s draw, today in the first round, our Grand Master Levon Aronyan will play with Israeli Boris Gelfand. Other couples are Din LiZhen- Vladimir Kramnik, Peter Leko- Alexander Morozevich, Alexander Grischuk- Ernesto Inarkiev. The games start at 16:00 (Yerevan time).
