Doesn't BHK want to take most seats in parliament? (video)

Vahram-Bagdasaryan

Republicans will pick up most seats at the National Assembly during the next parliamentary elections as well.  Is there anyone who doubts this? “Is there any political force that would not like to have a majority of overall seats in parliament?” says Vahran Baghdasaryan, Head of the Republican Party of Armenia (HHK) faction. Mr Baghdasaryan does not find convincing the claims that the Republicans will not be able to form a majority if early elections are held in the country. He says openly that Republicans, like other political forces, should do their best to take most seats in parliament. While Leader of the Prosperous Armenia Party (BHK) Gagik Tsarukyan said they want to deprive the HHK of its monopoly. “I am against the so-called 50+1 proportion and it does not matter whether most seats belong to the HHK or BHK,” said BHK lawmaker Martun Grigoryan, who is from Gyumri. When asked about the process of forming headquarters of activists throughout Armenia which was announced by BHK Leader Gagik Tsarukyan during the October 24 rally in Yerevan, Mr Grigoryan said he could not say anything definite at this moment. The lawmaker does not know the main role of the headquarters and says the opposition trio will determine their role. Nor could Mr Grigoryan say what the BHK Leader meant by saying they could not wait for ages for  changes to start.
